The HP increase outweighs the DR increase. In most if not all cases, you will kill less of the top-end monsters which have the increased DR, so net loss.

I've got 130 in frosty tundra and I have lvl 38 poison and 40 kraken with the equinox buff. I probably can have all the others before frosty when I try it. Not sure about orange but I think you'll be perfectly fine
