Many ways, colo 2 is good. Doing bosses with Merit for gem drop helps, minibosses, shop item spawn bosses. Weekly Giants, and now also island expedition crystal candy.

You should probably use the wiki and familiarize yourself with the elite classes you unlocked in w4, their names are essentially the first letters. DK = divine knight, etc. Bubo is the exception as people typically always call it bubo and not BC.

I only had tools made after rift 16, before that 50-100 stats for hundreds of afk hours accross account sounded like a waste for me, mainly cause every new world new stones rubs salt into a fact i can't replace it without new item

and during super excessive rush crafting tens of golds was huge investment iirc

The recommendation isnt just for the tools, but all the free talent pts for all alts by getting them those easy skill levels. And the Free stats is also a nice little bonus
