Theres not really an awnswer, you just have to go on ie, see how much exp one gives based on waves completed, and do the math based on cost

IE tells you which is best

for example, my highest exp per charge here is cans at 1379

onyx lumberbob statues (get them by candying ore mining), make sure you book your mage class so they have bonus to efficiency and bonuses to everything else, max out the sample skill, use both the dungeon skills, if you have any of the special boost food from the event , hit the tree, walk away, equip the food, then take a sample - this gives you the sample boosted by your food without actually risking using any of the food. Getting to skill mastery in the rift (16) helps as it will let you make all your skilling cards passive as you get enough levels in that skill, meaning you can spam AFK gains and general efficiency cards, basically give them the best equipment from all your characters, make the highest grade tool they can use, use card doublers, lab chips, give them the multi chopping alchemy bubble, the multi chopping star sign.

then sample the easiest thing you can - oak logs in the green mushroom zone.

DK > ES > other classes. Use ES when it's on the mob's regular table, and DK when it's on the rare drop table
