Sailing speed is increased by too many sources for me to list them all. Wiki has a good list of answers but in the very beginning just keep upgrading the first couple of boats with gold bars, those are your workhorses. keep unlocking artifacts it takes a long long time to do sailing

Getting a few atoms early on just to get the alchemy-related bonuses started and the stamp discount thing is a solid plan.

I'd just let your oak logs and copper ore stack up to 1050m, finish those vials, and then let them overflow for a bit and use those couple atoms to get started on those 2 bonuses.

Don't bother turning the collider on. Keep it turned off and limit set to 1050m. It will still activate on things over 1050m, even when turned off.

Ever since we got the W3 merit for salt costs, it has been either neutral or better to just upgrade all salts whenever convenient.

At this point intentionally holding back on refinery ranks will be a nuisance to you as red salts spiral towards infinity over time.

Yes, higher salt ranks gives you higher "velocity" to convert between types as necessary to get whatever upgrades you decide you need.

Boats sail back and forth automatically.
They try to deposit their loot in the shape of a chest in your loot pile when they return. If the loot pile is already full then they will stop sailing and remain in port holding the treasure they couldn't store.

If SB talent 11 is skilled (only do so if you check sailing roughly once a day) then your boats will continue to go back and forth. with the chance to upgrade them.
Without SB talent 11 skilled, your storage capacity is increased by the number of boats owned, as they will go out an extra time and dock with an extra chest.

I don't mean it offensive, but as mentioned, pretty much every tab has neglected parts which ends up hurting everything else on your account progression.

Bad Stamps + Alchemy = Bad samples/3d prints = Bad stamps/Alchemy/dmg and everything.
This is honestly the best spot for you to backtrack (posted image earlier) and to actually catch up on all those things. You should not have stamps that cost 5-1k materials at w5.. Your 3D prints/samples are like.. sorry but very very bad for W5. and that's because of your stamps/alchemy.

Everything works hand in hand, you strengthen A to get better at B, which will help A and C, and domino more and more. But if everything is neglected and low, everything will be very bad.
It's easiest for you to honestly just go through your tabs and easily upgrade stuff, it doesnt need much help, it needs actual time/effort or actual will to make progress.

I used to do detailed IE feedback stuff, but when everything is neglected, there's barely point in pushing someone in the right direction when nothing much has actually been done or worked on.

alchemy is all about setting micro goals and working towards them and setting new goals once previous ones have been reached

once your stamps are better, your alchemy a bit better. you will have the cores for better samples which will help you setup everything else like getting more and more alchemy. The only thing you will lack initially is water (liquids) which you will then be able to obtain through Bubo CC, even if its just 1-2x daily.

I think honestly aside from doing sailing and gaming which are passive checking in skills you should largely ignore w5 atm and just backtrack to progress.

Not just alch, without actually yhaving any talents, artifacts for +talent levels and stuff like that, their CC will remain terrible. It wouldnt be worth camping CC's, if then do the 1-2 daily CC's that currently i cant see being anything higher than 5k seconds tbh, maybe 10k. But their samples are terrible too.

Active what they can active such as Quests for new stamps, setting up stuff.
Take maestro out of divinity and make sure it's rank 1 on W1-2 skills
continue to active even if it's 1 by 1 to catch up and backtrack stuff on my list i posted earlier.
