Honestly it is, especially when i keep hearing people reset so frequent. My luck on both artifacts and snails was amazing. Yet my nugget luck has been pretty terrible in terms of bigger nugget increases (10k, 13k, 15k, 17k, 18k, 19k to 31k) and right after the 31k today i rolled a 23k and an hour later a 15k.

Half the distance = minimum time (2h) although some things can decrease your minimum sailing down beneath 2h (e.g. for me its 97min)

You don't want to bottleneck yourself, so fastest boats should always go to the higher islands, and only have your slowest boats on the lower islands. Since you you work all boats from left to right island to island, you'll be left with half the boats being useless.

Yes you would usually want to have your highest island be minimum speed (2h) but it's fine to have them be a bit more especially for some very important things like Fury. Imo it also comes down to how often you check sailing and if you are using SB talent 11 or not.

Imagine you have a loot pile of 30, and 15 boats, if all boats are 2h time it takes 4h to fill all 30 slots.

• With SB talent 11, you get 29 chest slots (loot pile), and then your boats continue with a chance to upgrade old chests. This is usually only good if you check once a day kinda thing. (Boats continuing to go back and forth will net you more sailing xp for each lap they did extra)

• Without SB talent 11, you get the 30 chests, plus 1 extra loot pile PER Boat (15 boats = 15 extra slots) Meaning 2h later you would have 45 chests as the 30 pile is full and all 15 boats at the dock. They will also stop at the pier and not continue. But more chests > chance to upgrade a chest in most cases.

But either way, my point is purely that you dont need to max Royal Sampler as it's super easy to hit that 90% cap even with Royal being around level 3-5ish and anything extra is just extra lost skill xp for no reason which does give skill xp directly.
And 5 to 7.5% skill xp is still enough to make a difference for something that would net you 0 benefit to max

2. w5 skill xp. you'll be sitting on divinity for a while, and skill levels help so its good to get it started early
3. respawn. portals get huge in w5
4. boss armor. recommended to save 5 points in preparation for boss armor, that way you'll be able to unlock all the pieces without having to do additional tasks
5. tab4 talent points and star talent: you might be low on elite tab talent points and stats when you're new to w5 but there are other sources. you can prioritize these over boss armor if you're not confident in crafting later armor

Witht eh setup you posted, you aim to block the first set of attacks by manually casting shield, then you tag the auto attack so it starts auto casting everthing

Assuming you did it right AND get lucky, the following happens:

1. Mono keeps the game nearly permanently paused
2. Defender spams shields out while paused
3. For the seconds it's unpaused, the shields block all attacks
4. Rattler/looter kill off the enemies

that's the aim yeah

you're basically throwing as late as possible to try and catch all of them - there's some randomness when they throw so sometimes it's not possible
