2. w5 skill xp. you'll be sitting on divinity for a while, and skill levels help so its good to get it started early
3. respawn. portals get huge in w5
4. boss armor. recommended to save 5 points in preparation for boss armor, that way you'll be able to unlock all the pieces without having to do additional tasks
5. tab4 talent points and star talent: you might be low on elite tab talent points and stats when you're new to w5 but there are other sources. you can prioritize these over boss armor if you're not confident in crafting later armor

and if you're the type of player that wants to check every hour, that is best, as it gets longer and longer time between gaining shovel uses

there is a roll for nugget size before shovel lvl comes into play, then a multiplier based on shovel lvl, is how it's been explained

E.g. a 25k+ nugget at lvl 150 shovel is 1 in ~1900 but lvl 200 shovel its 1 in 1200
So higher shovel does help get a higher nugget, it's not just the range

checking the chart on the wiki, the 20 hr shiny trap is 20x effeciency, and the 10 hr royal trap is 21x, so royal looks marginally better with a bit better shiny chance too

does your automation arm ever collect your traps? and specifically which numbers are you looking for, normal or shiny or exp?

sometimes for the item to register you need to drop the item on the ground and pick it back up. If you already have 10 characters and haven't done those missions, you need to wait until lava releases 11th char
