as in getting the most value out of doing it (zow/chow). For the best in terms of finishing the quickest, its SB/ES who can deal the most kills afk. BB is actually on the weaker side of kill rate unfortunately

Can someone please confirm the maximum number of bubbles that can be upgraded by no bubble left behind? I was at 9, plus a 20% chance of a 10th (gaming upgrade), but then got the eldritch artifact that boosted me to 10 bubbles upgraded. Since then, I haven't ever had 11 bubbles. Trying to figure out if 10 is the hard cap, so my gaming upgrade isn't helping anymore, or if I've been having an improbable run of bad luck on that 20% chance.

Not so much a guide but check what each atom unlocks. Most atoms give their biggest bonus at the first level, so unlocking them tends to be the most important thing

A common strategy is to push to the highest map you can reach in a reasonable time, convert the materials to gold, then upgrade boats 1-4 by large amounts.
You can then use the increased gains from those 4 boats to upgrade the rest

so if you need frags then you gotta sit there and check it while farming

yeah, click along the different ores. you'll see the rare bag drop rate goes down with each ore. so the furthest you have 100% efficiency on will give you good rates on the rare bags

Once you get everyone to lab level 50 or so, there are jewels and nodes that increase it once you connect to them. Check the pins for the layouts
