Basically, On Steam, for F2P games or games with MicroTransactions; As you spend money, you earn cards. When you collect all the cards, you can convert them into an award, plus get some cosmetic junk (profile backgrounds, chat emoticons, etc). You can complete the collection multiple times to get higher levels.
Or, you can try to -sell- the cards on Steam Marketplace, for a cut to steam, and genrally a few pennies to a few dollars for each card or even card booster pack.

For non F2P/MX games, you get about 60-70% of the number of cards drop you would need to make one level as you clock time in the game, so you would need to trade or buy to complete the set.

yeah, steam trading cards are just cosmetic faff that don't affect in-game, but can sell for a small bit (most are pennies, but right now the cards are new so varying between 10 cents and $1, not including foils which are like $10~25)

You have to reload the Map first. Then it appears at the top left corner of the Sailing Screen - where you send your Ships. But don't actually use it. Normal Chests have the same Artifact Chance as higher Chests. So no real use for it, same as SB 11 Talent

right let me explain. you have to kill the moles as they spawn with both attacks (coins for big groups, whip for smaller but big groups) and when a few spawn punch them. Only attack boss when you use the ability which kills all mobs in a radius (don't know what it's called)

It just goes up naturally over time as you raise alchemy, meals, stamps, cards and whatnot. Raising your lowest skill level will also increase vman damage a lot

IMPORTANT: have atom cost reduction when you're starting to produce atoms

1. loot capacity. sailing artifacts are main w5 progression
2. w5 skill xp. you'll be sitting on divinity for a while, and skill levels help so its good to get it started early
3. respawn. portals get huge in w5
4. boss armor. recommended to save 5 points in preparation for boss armor, that way you'll be able to unlock all the pieces without having to do additional tasks
5. tab4 talent points and star talent: you might be low on elite tab talent points and stats when you're new to w5 but there are other sources. you can prioritize these over boss armor if you're not confident in crafting later armor

The oversimplified answer is that elite classes increase character power by a lot which means higher levels, more talent points, bigger samples for bigger bubbles and stamps

Overall baseline character power gets higher and maestro can do more things
