The Root ability is very goofy on BM. It seems like Lava programmed the moles to heal after a set duration, rather than actual distance walked. Rooting them causes them to start healing the boss even when they're not physically near, so keep an eye out for that.

2. w5 skill xp. you'll be sitting on divinity for a while, and skill levels help so its good to get it started early
3. respawn. portals get huge in w5
4. boss armor. recommended to save 5 points in preparation for boss armor, that way you'll be able to unlock all the pieces without having to do additional tasks
5. tab4 talent points and star talent: you might be low on elite tab talent points and stats when you're new to w5 but there are other sources. you can prioritize these over boss armor if you're not confident in crafting later armor

You are not prepared. You need a lot of Drop Rate and Crystal Spawn Chance, plus having the Choco Chip in the lab, plus having maxed out Orb duration via talent talents.

when it comes to extra stats on armor, +20 strength won't help your mining enough to justify not going for +20 luck for all the other situations you having mainstat on your maestro come up. just use luck for your maestro equipment

The only exception is on the very first tool you make on a new tier. Assumingly it is left on the Maestro while you continue skilling. i.e. your first Void Pickaxe should be +STR. Once you get 3 +STR Voids for your Warriors, then you can make a +LUK version for the Maestro for Damage.
