IMPORTANT: have atom cost reduction when you're starting to produce atoms

1. loot capacity. sailing artifacts are main w5 progression
2. w5 skill xp. you'll be sitting on divinity for a while, and skill levels help so its good to get it started early
3. respawn. portals get huge in w5
4. boss armor. recommended to save 5 points in preparation for boss armor, that way you'll be able to unlock all the pieces without having to do additional tasks
5. tab4 talent points and star talent: you might be low on elite tab talent points and stats when you're new to w5 but there are other sources. you can prioritize these over boss armor if you're not confident in crafting later armor

so the part with artifacts (the ancient statues) you want to focus on the statues that boost you in some point more but overall you want to get ofc all to eldritch
the finishing quest on all characters can wait since it is time consuming
king of food trophy is a good one for worship so yeah thats good
shimmer island and bribes are good too
trapping xp isn't that hard to get when you go for only trapping xp when you have natural traps I think you can put down traps with x75 times xp for 20h do that on your vman with every single xp boost he gets (you don't care about effi there) on all characters where you want to lvl trapping but don't forget on that trap you get 0 critters out so get some critters before you go for lvling and ofc you put those traps on blobfish

Critters is very strongly what you need. Don't remember which bubbles used what. Also a thing to check is Salt Lick.
Just remember to max Critter XP on your mman+

WARNING: Once you receive the Onyx chisel, even though you unlocked onyx power statue from the quest. You still have to drop the onyx chisel at the feet of the W1 Statue NPC. If you lose an onyx chisel, you will essentially lock yourself out from progressing on 1 of your alts!

You do know about DK orb?

the orb (functionally) works as a multiplier to your DR.

IF you have 5 DR and 200 orb, that's effectively 15 DR per kill. If you have 10 DR, that's 30 per kill - the ratio stays the same

So assuming you're using the same DR buffs on both characters, DK should always beat out bubo at crystal drops

That's not quite how it works. Orb grants loot as if you killed extra enemies, it doesn't actually increase DR. It's fine to roughly think of it that way but not the same 🤷

Between 0 and 99, you have a percentage chance to get loot as if you killed 1 additional enemy. (Exact same way that Jman's loot bag works)
At 100-199, you always ALWAYS get loot for 1 additional enemy, with a chance at loot from a 2nd additional enemy.

Fast forward then to 700 orb, you're guaranteed loot as if you killed 7 additional enemies.

Meaning killing 1 crystal at 700 orb gives the loot of 8 crystals

Still at your 17.5x dr though. That never changes.

the 20k is yo "unlock" it the 100k is to get the quest done ofc but to get the 10k of skill xp and kachow statue

and you need like 20k of one status and drop it on the onyx statue.. after you unlock it.. and it will take them as a offer and make the status you drop.. "gray" and then you will get it power up

so dont just deposite it as "normal"
