Its not "better" than others in terms of worship but it gives better combat stats and you need it to craft the last skull

DK = Items that drop from monsters not in the area itself (like crystals, for statues, dice obols, or event monsters since they are not originally from that map) + also for w5 last zone key farm
Bubo = Good for money and xp, but late game DK is also very good for those.
mman/vman = for drops from bosses, because es/dk cannot stack wormhole/orb for DR there.

BB becomes bad in w4 once you unlock those elites. His purpose becomes cooking, along with getting chow/zow/superchow for.. cooking.

To push w5, (active) you could use bubo, es, dk. now sure who is the fastest, i'd probably stick with either bubo or dk. Especially bubo or dk. Bubo will help with CC => Alchemy progress and unlocks, DK active with Construction. Both have insta rezz. Dk has more survivability than bubo, but bubo is most likely a bunch faster in clearing portals.

It's also the main 2 classes that are relevant to have on last zone w5. Whereas others like BB have 0 purpose there

I wouldn't recommend pushing w5 if you're just hitting it. not many benefits. push divinity so you can set up lab and div and go back to start pushing stamps and alchemy

use bubo if you're gonna do anything active to push more liquid in alchemy and pushing bubbles

A lot of this is situational based on what they need/have but:

They could setup BB on Nobi if they need to chow (and kph is decent) or Bear if their cooking can benefit from it while getting laddles.
4-5 alts on Goat while in lab + div combo, especially sb2/dk2/es2 to maintain sailing/gaming/dr/div buffs at all times.

Then active push on either bubo or dk. vman can skill or something if its not #1 in skills. SB can gmush camp for better long term money.

Overall all of those situationals could be rotated in for xp if they need talent pts

Hey guys! So i was told that in sailing captains with artifact find chance are not worth it but the person couldn't explain why. I then tried to find some information but had no luck. Can you maybe explain to me why they are bad and if I instead should focus on loot value and/or speed?

Eventually U get all the artifacts and it’s a dead stat. But untill then it’s not terrible. Just speed and loot will allow all ur boats to travel further and upgrade faster

Assume you have max captains (20) and are rolling for a hard artifact (0.01% chance)

you get a really cool captain for one of your boats: 100% artifact chance gain

the chests this captain bring back are now 0.02% chance, as this is a 100% chance increase. Now, each loop of chests you get give you:

19x 0.01% chance
1x 0.02% chance

this is approximately a 5% increase in chest chance

In exchange you lose loot% and speed %. Loot % gives you more upgrades, allowing you to improve your boats more. Speed % ,means you need less upgrades to reach an island in a reasonable time. Dropping both of these for artifact chance means you'll unlock the later islands considerably slower.

Typically the time gained by using an artifact captain is more than lost by the time saved using speed/loot%

I don't know how arti captains stack with the arti chance artifact/shiny pets either, if it's additive, it's even worse

Assuming you can hit 60m speed on every boat without speed captains, artifact chance is actually really good. You have no need to upgrade your boats much higher

Bubo's kit can respawn too, but requires heavy talent investment to get it going
Sb and BM have respawn, but they're not as strong as the other three

BB and Noob have no respawn mechanics

Yeah recently got it

1. Do your quests to unlock daily keys. These are good for general resources (cards/gems, blankies/obols from chizoar)

2. Use your minibosses. Slush shouldn't ever be maxed out (note: Optimal to do this weekly)

3. you have 105 library books. I have never seen that many library books. Use them - the more you have the slower they are. Just dump them on random talents for all I care (w3 achievement: check out 1k books)

4. Stamps will defintely need some work, there's a few easy to get ones you're missing too. you can use IE to tick to see which ones can be upgraded with your current resources

5. Alchemy is where your true pain lies. Level up your bubbles. Do anything to get them up as high as you can. No bubble left behind will pick up the slack on the ones you can't do
   5a. For monster material bubbles, use ES to farm the mob. It produces a lot and will greatly help level your bubbles
   5b. For skilling materials (log, ore, bug, fish) print what you need to level and dump it into bubbles
   5c. Don't bother doing sigils until your cauldron bubbles are max unlocked

IMPORTANT: have atom cost reduction when you're starting to produce atoms

1. loot capacity. sailing artifacts are main w5 progression
2. w5 skill xp. you'll be sitting on divinity for a while, and skill levels help so its good to get it started early
3. respawn. portals get huge in w5
4. boss armor. recommended to save 5 points in preparation for boss armor, that way you'll be able to unlock all the pieces without having to do additional tasks
5. tab4 talent points and star talent: you might be low on elite tab talent points and stats when you're new to w5 but there are other sources. you can prioritize these over boss armor if you're not confident in crafting later armor

Everyone gets exp for their traps regardless of who places them. You place exp traps on vman so you benefit from transfusion and place traps for critters on BM to get the efficiency

Auto trap was added before you could trap from 1 character and the description was never adjusted. Everyone gets their own exp
