Depends what you're trying to achieve, but probably not all your characters. I think most people do like 6 characters in lab with goat so you also get divinity gains. But then like 4 characters out of lab still farming stuff. Obviously feel free to adjust for however you wanna play, but my understanding is thats the typical strategy. I then use the 30% afk gains god on the players not in lab personally

if i'm going for gold trade now i only save up the furthest island i've unlocked and amass all i can before it shows back up. there is a chart that predicts what the next trade item will be for like a year in advance somewhere
just keep piling up that resource so when it comes through you can get tons of gold

It also shows your current trades when he comes/shows up. that way you can already plan and setup something thats a few days away and then not touch that resource
For the ratio, just do gold bars divided by your resource amount for the average gold per resource. Then do 7.77k or 77.7k or whatever really works the best at your progress state and divide those gold by the amount of resource you just calculated to know roughly know how many resources you will need.

A common thing with Bubo is running Tent (cd reduction on kill) with the bubo skills and Cranium cooking) to massively boost your alchemy progress. Makes unlocking all the bubbles, maxing couldrons, and getting water a breeze

- Colo 4 = Eggs, Laddles
- Colo 5 = To be released
Note:
- Gold bread seems to only give ~1% of the displayed value, not really worth it - TheContract
