yes, farm every island at all times when you're starting out. you want a constant stream of income making your boats good. feel free to send your boats to the best islands they can go do in the minimum sailing time and farm multiple islands at a time. practice managing and keeping track of who is going where, as the most useful skill to have is to be able to recall individual boats when you want to without interfering with other boats' progress.

Going back to buff self and get multikill may often result in opening portal faster than chipping away at normal kills

It seems like a silly answer but it's true. I've switched my focus to heavy alchemy and my damage has sky rocketed. From struggling to hit 100bil to being near 500bil

You can also look at your stamps, cooking levels, chips in lab, etc

I don't even bother asking people to look at my ie anymore

Say if character A got 50k efficiency in mining, the blessing gives 2000 mining efficiency.
If character B got 500m efficiency in mining, the blessing gives like 500 mining efficiency

Stronger your skill efficiency, the effect of the blessing gets weaker
