Mantra works a bit differently compared to other Divinity styles. The gains of having all ten characters on mantra will not visually show up in neither afk info screen, nor afk claim screen.

In order for your characters to get their fair share of shared exp, you start by first claiming the afk time of a mantra character. The game, upon claiming afk mantra time, will then calculate what should be sent to the rest of your characters. However, that shared exp also does not show up on the remaining characters afk claim screen, but it does get added to your divinity exp bar none the less!
The easiest way to make sure mantra is working for you is to claim all afk time on all mantra characters, and watch your exp bars on the rest of your characters go up.

(Shared exp from the bubos lab talent also works the same way! Gotta claim your bubo first to let the game know how much exp should be shared)

It's an interesting thing, really. Like, in terms of monetary success, this is probably a massive boost for Lava. The people that are super upset are the very vocal minority and I honestly doubt this will cause major long-term issues as it currently stands. Sure some of the long-term players will leave and it tarnishes their percieved reputation of the game, but keep in mind that this is a very small minority of the entire playerbase

Here is my theory

Obviously he was excited to release an update with cool new pets and big time buffs for players

Players were clearly not as excited by it and for almost a week straight, it has been very negative and critical

I am guessing he doesn't want to deal with that and is ignoring all of this, reddit and steam reviews while working on some kind of hotfix

Something that will ideally address the negative criticism and keep his new content close to the same

IMPORTANT: have atom cost reduction when you're starting to produce atoms

1. loot capacity. sailing artifacts are main w5 progression
2. w5 skill xp. you'll be sitting on divinity for a while, and skill levels help so its good to get it started early
3. respawn. portals get huge in w5
4. boss armor. recommended to save 5 points in preparation for boss armor, that way you'll be able to unlock all the pieces without having to do additional tasks
5. tab4 talent points and star talent: you might be low on elite tab talent points and stats when you're new to w5 but there are other sources. you can prioritize these over boss armor if you're not confident in crafting later armor

the biggest issue with the update is not doot, its not the bonuses, its the gacha mechanic with super predatory FOMO and the fact tht there is no pity system to limit massive spending (somethign i have been shown is illegal in several countries) and there is no f2p way to farm the currency or a f2p system to guarante you get all bonuses before the pet season rotation ends

ES = only affects wormhole mobs
DK = Affects all mobs on the map, so also amazing for stuff like minibosses + colo where you stack orb.
