I recently noticed something, the vehicle speed is probably meant to be shown in miles but it instead is shown in kilometers. If it is assumed that the actual shown speed is in miles per hour instead of kilometers per hour, and we then convert that into kilometers per hour, we get very believable vehicle speed, with the first shitbox having a top speed of roughly 212 and the fastest car in the game having a top speed of roughly 322
