Shu’s S1 is an auto skill

In fact it’s the same exact skill as Saria’s S1

Beyond that, Shu has many auxiliary advantages over Saria

Her first talent provides sanctuary and passive regen healing to all units in a cross around operators she heals which lasts permanently until she retreats

And her S3 has very high HPS, excellent range, can teleport enemies and even provides minor aspd and atk buffs as a bonus

Meanwhile the only thing Saria does better is that she can function as an SP battery with S3 under certain circumstances, and she has higher atk and defense due to her second talent

Hmm, she can gain benefit from caster relics and everytime you deploy sniper/caster she will deploy that machine on her S3 near them and stuns enemy for 5 second, can be used for tactical stalling... And she reduces their def by 400 and res by 20 on mod lvl 3. In short she's a QoL to help deal with enemies but not the main damage dealer

Eh, if compared to already decent laneholder like blaze, mudrock, etc... she doesn't bring much more, she's just in case if you want to try spicing up your laneholding strat by relying on reflect arts damage XD. I'm sure some missions would love her reflect arts mechanic or something

Ray's pretty good as a starter, her S2 is solid against most enemies and you can always use her sandbeast, so whenever an enemy gets hit by Ray, the sandbeast will give ammo back to Ray upon retreat.
