#Stockfish loses on time on multiple occasions (SF 17, running in en-croissant)

Stockfish loses on time in some incredibly low time scenarios. (under a minute for a full game, no bonus time.)
Is that the GUI's fault, the settings fault, a bug, or simply too little time? Should I always give some bonus time when engines play, particularly low time games?

the board when that glitch occured is attached.

Sorry I'm so late to this lol

#

When an engine instantly makes a move, the next engine will not be told to search or some similar issue

#

If white makes a move instantly, black will timeout

#

Also en croissant crashes on timeout
