Layering Tips + How could I improve upon it?

Title explains all, I'm completely dogshit at layering and I only know the basic concepts of "fill the frequency spectrum" and "don't make mix muddy"

depends of what kind of sound you trying to make, but in most cases you generally want to use sounds as different as possible from the other when layering. also you could try adding all the layers to a bus and adding multiband compression, reverb and and distortion to glue sounds together
