Ctrl-F7 changes the fps limit
Ctrl-F10 is Audio debugging

the f1 one is pretty useful

I just hate that it doesn't fall under fair use. IMHO I think it should in at least some capacity. I think charters should be able to map any song to ever exist in the world without having to worry about copyright. i don't like how it goes full LN at the end tho, i almost die to it

full LN doesn't make sense + osu takes huge hp from sliderbreaks and are like the only rhythm game nowadays that has a long note release window

other rhythm games you just hold the note and it's a max hit even if you forget to release it

because peppy and smoogipoo do not understand vsrg

score v2 is great, sliderbreaks only deal like 40% miss damage, easier to miss but doesn't kill as much and doesn't affect accuracy as much

full LN makes sense? ☠️ makes sense how? those long notes transcribe nothing, those release timings pertain to nothing, there's no rhythm to it. i would compare it to dumpstream but people actually like dumpstream. it's just y'all, the severe minority of y'all who like it because it's a skillset that you had to pointlessly specifically learn because it's not a skill that would come by otherwise just by playing more because it's a stupid skill to begin with, and the fact that you say it's like having to relearn the game is telling

i actually like LN. i play it, i (try to) map it. but c'mon, nothing about full LN makes sense in a rhythm game, it throws rhythm out the window. because the RELEASE TIMINGS DON'T MAKE SENSE.

there's maps like quietus ray 4dmwc, satan (accursed), all the gekido "ln master" maps, some of the shuniki "shuchan" maps, that are hard LN maps without having to be full LN, and they're fun to play

(haven't hp passed quietus ray yet, tournament maps have such high hp)

mania's difficult for me because you can end up not knowing what the fuck you're doing 3 minutes in after timing
especially with 4k, i end up making patterns too simple, repeating too many patterns or just making an unplayable and garbage mess (which is most ranked charts nowadays)

I think most of it's valid, however I feel like it's an artists responsibility to give a grace period for removing the content only when it's been there for such a long time without action. It's also in a spot for the content creators where the song is already on osu so you'd assume the mapper got valid permission to use the song, if they actually enforced their copyright we wouldn't be this deep. 💀
