Im going to europe for a holiday and have no idea where to go. Im starting in rome, i have 6 days to do something. Where should i go

First things first, how far would you be able to go within those 6 days?

By train, entering and leaving Spain is a bit hard because they use a different track gauge

You can probably go as far as Switzerland and Austria, spend some time there and then go back

Car is an option too

Venice is cool to see once; but I do have to say that if you start at Piazza del san Marco, you can see the most important things in Venice by walking around for exactly 5 minutes. (Rialto bridge, Contarini del bevolio, Palazzo Ducale)
But in my opinion it is a huge tourist trap; so you can skip it
