Well we have:
Summer camp, different place each year, lasts a week

Fall camp, at a scout centre just outside our town, open to the whole country, lasts a week.

Fall group camp with only our group. Lasts a weekend. At a place called Ryekol.

Christmas dinner with the scout from our division. Basically a full weekend of 16-27yr olds f*cking around at a place called mølkær.

Spring camp. A week Long camp. Can be anywhere.

Indaba. A fun camp over 4 days where you Are together with the scouts from the division. Also at Ryekol.

Spring group camp. Same concept as Fall group camp but at a place called sletten

each year my group does a group camp around St George's day weekend, where every section of the group attends, and a summer camp in mid August for the scouts and explorers (10-18) which alternates from UK to international each year. for the scouts section we try to do 4-6 various other camps throughout the year.

For the cubs:
We make a thematic camp with "their" thematic (We, the leader, preselect the initial idea e.g. Harry potter or the space and they add more on it). For winter, we use our land and they create/build stuff in snow like if it’s a mission or something. For the summer season (mid-July), we normally stay on a scout camp base in a cottage (Previously, we were going at the Domaine scout Saint-Louis-de-France, but now, we’re going at awacamenj mino scout camp) and doing all sorts of activities (climbing, geocaching, archery, canoeing, and more…)

#

For the venture:
In winter, we have 3 types of camp (1. We’re camping on different sites with a long distance between each site and we normally just a basic tent or we dig an hole in the snow | 2. We stay on different sites with short distance between and we normally make a small thing the first night for letting them sleep. The next day, we go on the other site and make a huge one like a quinzhee | 3. We stay on 1 site with an heavy tent including a fireplace in it). We made it around the month of march during 1 weekend.

#

In summer, we are making different type of camp depending on what our kids want to do. Sometimes, it could be a normal camp (staying on 1 site and creating stuff). And sometimes, they want to make it a bit more active soo we can make a canoe-camping, a biking and camping or make a common camp with other troops (this one is really hard to make, but it’s the funniest ngl 🫤) Normally making it in the beginning of august.
