Sure. What do you need to know?
Please could you tell me what scouting is like in you country like what activities you do and what country you are from. Thank you
Are you looking for any specifics so we can narrow it down?
Activities which you know are definitely not in another country and different types of uniform.
Well our uniforms are blue across all sections which I know is quite uncommon
In terms of activities are we talking big things or the stuff you do on a monday night?
I mean it does depend because sometimes on our meeting nights ie tonight we have small things but like the activities which you know that nobody else does and is all to do with your troop. If that makes sense I'm not very good at explaining but I'm trying to get my gold award because I'm a bit behind and should really be moving up soon 😅

Well I've been to a couple TSA meetings before and they're fairly similar to ours here in Ireland
I've gtg now but I'll send something a bit later
Alright, I'll describe as best I can the things that are normal in my scouting group.
5-7: are called beavers, they have red uniforms and the things we teach there are the basics of tying knots (like tying shoe laces and such) but other than that we know they're kids so we mostly stimulate playing and getting along together.
7-11: they're the cubs, they have green uniforms and there we teach them the basics of the standard tools they need to use (like safely using a knife or axe) but they are also still kids so we think it's important to spend time on teamwork.
11-15: are the scouts, they have beige uniforms and mostly we expect them to already know the basics of the skills and we improve the skills by doing bigger projects. There we also expect them to work together.
15-18: the explorers, they've red uniforms, we can mostly assume they know the skills required to survive, this is the age where we mostly stimulate independence and creating their own program which they also need to prepare. In this age group they've no leader but someone who'll help them if they feel like it's not taking seriously or if the teens are too busy.
18-25+: this group is new for our group. These are the roverscouts. This group is completely independent and is also expected to eventually run the scouting group (be it leader or otherwise volunteer for fun events)
Does this help you in any way?
Yes thanks will definitely include this
