My favorite chicken passed away today. I went into the coop and took him out to feed him. Everything was fine, he even ate his medicine.
Then suddenly he just fell over. I went inside to grab a box so I can take him to the vet.
When I returned he was just dead. Within 10 minutes.

If you check Facebook marketplace, Craigslist, or even just a fish store… 10-20 gallons are not that expensive, but you are taking part because you’re choosing to do nothing when you know those fish have bad conditions. Glo tetras are schooling fish so they need the space to swim and should only be kept in schools of 6 or more to reduce stress.

Yeah I work in the hobby, so I don’t even sell to people if they don’t have the right conditions. They’re only gonna live a fraction of their lifespan due to the size of the tank. The stress literally kills them

I actually run my tanks with no chemicals and zero water changes. There are ways to keep fish with as little maintenance as possible, but it’s very advanced fish keeping. Fish can be one of the hardest pets you’ll ever keep cause you’re basically creating a whole ecosystem in a glass rectangle
