Anyone figured out any more info on the Aswang? Based on wiki it sounds like all it does is just gets line of sight faster than other ghosts, but book makes it sound like a banshee/revenant hybrid of getting fast on a specific target, but also what does the weakness of it mean that it prefers chasing over searching, like what happens when it loses sight of you?

Hello, since the newest update on Xbox Series S there seems to be a graphical bug in Phasmophobia.
The whole screen gets a weird green/purple tint and the colors look completely broken during gameplay.

Multiple restarts did not fix it.
It started happening only after the latest update.

Is this a known issue and is there already a fix or hotfix planned?

They stated that they’re gonna add a part two to character customization to the road map where they’re gonna re-haul every animation and everything with more customization and lots more stuff. But knowing them, they are probably going to set back almost every update that they said was gonna come out this year which pisses me off to think about. But at the same time, I feel like if they do that they’re gonna piss the community off even more to the point where they’re just gonna be done so I have a feeling they’re just going to do what we wanted them to do for the longest time and hire more people to get the job done. Because with how much money they made, they are 100% blowing all of it on ads and collaborations

You have the dots pointing where the ghost will be walking, occasionally it will show up as a hologram of the ghost. Spirit Box; lights off ask questions near the ghost, if having voice recognition issues use text or leave it on in the floor.

you know what this whole situation reminds me of? Cities Skylines 2.

• We knew this update was bad before launch. CS2 knew and pre-apologised for performance.
• We had this update pushed on us anyway. so too was CS2 released early despite player pleas to delay.
• Phasmo did the animation update for greater realism. CS2 boasted far greater realism too.
• Our developer said the game was plenty playable. CS2's CEO also said CS2 was playable, and it just may not be for some people.
• Our developers rarely ever engage with the community due to being burnt. same with CS2. This is the opposite of what was needed.
• We have a developer making infrequent update, so too did CS2.
• Phasmophbia neglects little details - zooming on the right body parts, allowing loadouts to work even if an equipment is unavailable etc. CS2 also did hacky shortcuts, teleporting cargo and letting people visit random houses as if they lived there.

Phasmophobia Before the character creator feels like CS1. After feels like CS2.
The only good grace is it took Phasmo 1 week to admit the game was below their standards, while it took months for CS2. But the two stories are almost parallel.

History sure seems to like rhyming. Lets hope KG take heed and actually fix or just fully reverse a lot of this new nonsense.

dose banishing the shadows or removing the cluster of letter drop sanity? or is the saninty bugged? my friends and I played two rounds on professional and the ghost destroyed us, the 2nd match we had one person focus on the ghost instead of all 3 of us doing the event task, we normally professional or nightmare. we ended up dropping the difficulty so we could focus more on the event as we weren't too worried about getting money.

I think the way the alan wake event was presented was very nicely done.

Instead of just playing to identify the ghost 500 times to finish it and get a 100% we had to do things outside of the basic gameplay instead of just grinding it out

||in round 2 they had the child, the adult with the kid, and the elder, and all three were sort-off dark-skinned, so it made sense to me that the story tried to tell me that it was the life of a single character
I initially put both the young ones, both the adults, and then the elder in the sea - because the story kept saying 'we' and not 'i' or 'him' so it made sense to me that the story referred to them as a couple and not to the guy alone||

Start with a lower difficulty to get the steering around tables etc down pat - while trying to face the ghost at all times. Have a smudge ready (or three at the beginning), then crouch, and use your sprint only when the ghost is closing in. Be prepared to switch the electronics off when you want to escape.

Amateur or Intermediate. You could also make the ghosts slower in a custom set up to get yourself used to circle the table without the risk of getting caught.

You can choose your own difficulty. And then alter them. There you can slower the ghosts, and make hunts longer or shorter. For learning how to loop, longer hunts could be better.
