basicall set your sanity to 75 or more, go on edgefield (because it has the shortest walking distance from truck to door) and then go in, wait a minute, if it doesn't hunt back out and repeat

but keep in mind, it needs to be instant, not just quickly, and it's often easy to make the mistake when the light turns off for other reasons, so don't be too quick to judge

Was the bone search on Maple Lodge not bad enough without a bunch of tiny sticks covering the map? I swept the entire map twice, and then just left. Didn't even finish the objectives or media, because I was so tired of the map at that point.

The debriefing said it was in the cabin bathroom, which I checked pretty well, because it was the last room I checked both times. I think my fear came true, which is that the bone spawned under those thick piles of sticks that you can walk through but not see through.

I was really hoping that after 5 years of developing this game, they would have come up with some way to prevent that from happening, or they wouldn't have added that type of decoration at all.

They did a good job of making the snow piles for the winter event solid, so that bones can't spawn under them.

As far as I know, there's no setting where you can't outrun a Deo.

Deo's minimum speed is 0.4, so on 150% speed it's 0.6. Adding 15% would only be 0.64. Player speed is 1.6 (I believe), so on 50% speed it would be 0.8

So if only using a three-flame test, you can only eliminate the Onryo if there is no hunt.

• Light three tier 2 firelights at the same time for the first time, they will be blown out at exactly 30 seconds (happens 89% of the time) if the ghost is nearby

• If the lighter is blown out within 20 seconds, it's an Onryo, as it tried to hunt due to the three flames and the lighter blocked it by being blown out
