onryo is normal speed
moroi is faster as sanity is lower and slower as sanity is higher
thaye is fast early on and gets slower the longer you're near it

a moroi only if youre low sanity (you can use a sanity pill mid hunt and it will slow down)

Focus on learning the game. The more you know the smoother levels will be. Play the hardest difficulty you can do reliably. Avoid dying above all else. Once you hit lvl 50 Custom unlocks and you've got tons of options for grinding XP.

Play harder difficulties :) But would not recommend just speedrunning things like that,, just enjoy the game and its steep learning curve

Depends on your skill level, You can probably pinch a bit more XP if you do a custom difficulty and tweak some modifiers. Im not a pro (cant tell a ghost based on hunts) but i use a custom mode that nets 3.70 - 4.12x XP

depending on the difficulty and the ghost (obake and mimic obake can do that not leaving uv)

if you're nightmare and above do not cross any evidence out :) otherwise check if you have an obake or a mimic mimicking obake, they have a chance to not leave fingerprints on doors and footprints on salt

also how do i use cursed objects in game? for ouija board i ask one question it hunts and we lose someone, and for the hand i asked 1 question and it hunts killing someone and i cant use the rest of the 4 fingers cuz idk how

I had someone the other get me killed. It was a shade and we needed ghost photo and vid so I went "ok, ill set the cam up for a van princess and ill loop the ghost around counter". We start a hunt with the weggy board and bro IMMEDIATELY runs straight into me, blocking my view of the ghost. I was like "BRO MOVE GET OUT OF THE WAY" only to get the ghosts direction wrong and die. The guy then proceeded to just up and leave

I actually havnt personally used tarot yet. I need to 'practice' the cursed objects more. Im most familiar with the Ouiji. I know how the summong circle works but never used it, ive used monkey paw once, i used music box once, i never personally used the mirror. I usually let my friends do the cursed object and i try to take the ghost away from them

He starts as completely normal average speed ghost, if it burns a crucifix, walks on salt or gets incensed both before and during the hunt (minus the crucifix during the hunt) it gets enraged and runs faster and ignores salt (like wraith)

then it gets weakened after that for the next hunt and after doing a hunt in weakened resets to its normal state and if you enrage it again.. rinse and repeat

One good way to rule out a gallu if you suspect one, make it enraged, loop it around salt, if it doesn't step on salt (and you already established it's not a wraith ofc) you got yourself a gallu, speed change after incense is also one way etc

No they can not, they can just reduce the range of the crucifix

The "joke" questions are people using Windows/System Voice, which is more lenient in how it interprets questions, so stuff like "How many pickles" is a close enough match to "How many people"
