I know so many people who are attached to specific maps, and Tanglewood being the loudest. But games change when in early access. Maybe a looping type spot will be added elsewhere. When the maps were originally made looping was not really a thing to keep a mind in for deign. Heck, I don’t think looping is really so vitally important for most ghosts. My point is that looping being more of a thing now they may keep that in mind for other parts of the map like the basement or garage.

The banshee multiplayer tell is pretty easy. Get everyone alive to go in the house for a hunt. Have one person catch its attention. If the ghost ignores them, it's a banshee. If it chases them, have them hide somewhere after breaking los or popping smudge and repeat the test with a second player. If it ignores that player, it's a banshee. If it chases them, it's not a banshee

Banshees can only chase and harm their target. They ignore everyone else during hunts and won't even kill anyone else if their target is in the house. But if the target is outside the house, the banshee acts like a normal ghost in hunts. That's why you need all living players inside to conduct this test

there's a way to identify an onryo just by the first extinguish. First fire timer lasts exactly 30 seconds, which means that the ANY ghost in range will try to blow it out at the end of this timer (at 30 sec). And if it's an onryo, it's in range and threshold is < 40 %, then it can blow it out earlier than 30 seconds
If you talking about 3 extinguishes in a row with a difference of approximately 30 seconds each, then it still CAN be any ghost, because the first 20 seconds have passed since you lit the firelight

way too hard to pinpoint sounds and the map is already tiny

as far as ghosts being active in rooms other than their favorite room, the ghost could be roaming, interacting through walls, or rarely could be bugged and it's stuck in the map
