you probably just need to learn how ghosts act. thats what i needed to do. Ghosts have little quirks about them that help identify them. Like how mares likes to turn a rooms life off when you first turn it on.

I had thought I encountered a Deogen because I panicked that I couldn't get into a locker because it was blocked. And I heard it rapidly approaching me, and then slowed down. I was like, "That's a Deogen! Cool!" And I was so confident that it was a Deogen that the next time it started hunting, I didn't do anything and I waited until it charged at me. I was so flabbergasted at when it didn't slow down and it killed me. Debriefing showed it was The Mimic LMAO

i have no idea when the sound recorder got updated, but i dont know if that matters. all i suggest, if you wanna complete that challenge, is to watch a tutorial from someone who's got lots of hours in the game, a lot of knowledge, and can give you the tips/tricks you're asking for. like i said, i haven't completed the challenge, so i can't personally help, but i would say he's a good source. check it out if you want to, or leave it. that's all i can say. good luck on your challenge 🙂

If you can't consistently guess the ghost and survive in nightmare, you won't survive apoc 3 unless you're scum rolling for deo+easy objectives

You'll get used to them eventually. A lot of ghosts have hard tells to confirm or eliminate them in the journal. You can even figure out or eliminate at least half the roster with just one hunt.

The map really isn't all that bad with how it's laid out in straight lines, it's just a matter of getting used to what room is where. Imo if time isn't a factor it's a great map for pretty much any game mode
