I would just play the game normally. Literally out of your control at this point. If you truly didn’t cheat then you don’t have more than one report. I doubt one report is all it takes for a ban. So if you don’t have other reports on you then you should be fine. But again I don’t blame the guy being suspicious. But best advice is just literally playing the game normally.

Me and my friend just played a match and the ghost was somehow an onryo even tho we put 3 candles and made sure no other candles were open
How was it an onryo

I'm not sure if I just didn't follow correctly, but one person made it sound like it was still stuck there after a hunt as well? My current (uneducated) theory is that it tries to spawn in some place (say, Attic), and hits some collision or something, so it defaults to that stuck spot.

Based on my analysis of the pattern of map rotation:

7 maps and 4 are chosen each day.

It is not random. If maps were not in rotation today, they will be tomorrow.

Because it chooses 4 maps, choosing 4 different maps for the next day would require 8 selectable maps. Since there’s only 7 there will be 1 duplicate map (the map in rotation twice in a row).

The map that goes in rotation twice in a row alternates in a pattern

If my pattern is correct, then I predict that the next maps in rotation will be:

End of event, instead of it being a phantom. If the photograph shows in the book as ghost photo and it is crystal clear with no interference, then it was a phantom, but if it is full of static, then it wasn't and you were just unlucky the ghost chose that very moment to vanish

You can use that as well, but more reliably tell if its a phantom by the lack of interference/glitchiness from the photo

you get desensitized to it after a while. my advice? go in with no extra items, and intentionally let the ghost kill you a few times. still try to figure the ghost out, but let it kill you. you've brought nothing extra with you, so you lose nothing. but this way, you get used to it faster. you know you're going to let it kill you, so you won't be as scared going in, and experiencing it, you'll get used to it.

while doing this, whenever you see the ghost, walk up to it. this will help you learn the difference between an event and a hunt. events don't kill. hunts do.

i've got over 1k hours in this game now. i still get scared, but it's mostly just tension from wanting to NOT lose my work, and jumpscares from events right in my face. other than that? it's a chill game when playing solo.

and honestly, once you get used to it, you'll find ghost behavior kinda comical at times.

If it turns power off not jinn (power must be enabled & on, side note jinns can unintentionally turn off power) also if it sees you and over 3 meters away it will speed up u till it loses sight of you or within 3 meters or both
