Could have been a normal hunt that got blocked which made music box just not work. But want to make sure

I heard someone saying that know the only way to find a Goryo by evidence is not on the truck anymore. It need to be using a camera in the room of the ghost. Is that right? I looked for this information but I didn't find it.

From my understanding of your message, that's not true, you still need to be outside the room and using a camera to see Goryo dots

Goryo dots can be seen via video camera while no player is in its room. So yes you dont have to be in van. But you still can

The issue with this challenge is you have setup time, slow sanity drain, and no cursed object, so you're strongly encouraged to figure out the ghost from limited evidence and tells pre-hunt. Otherwise you're waiting around in the dark a lot

i mean easiest way would be to get ghost to see you, let it run to you. Smudge, take video + photo, keep using your smudges then hunt will end. For firelight objective if ghost paths near chapel its free objective

then just pray u can identify the ghost type from the hunt

You need to learn individual ghost behaviours and special abilities and adapt your strategy based on your observations. For example, if a hunt starts and the ghost is really fast but slows significantly when it gets close to you; it's a deogen. If you get a spirit box or sound recorder response and your sanity keeps draining even in the light, it's a moroi. Learning these things will help you

Question: I just played a professional round on Tanglewood. I had a ghost that was chucking stuff in the nusrery room but also throwing stuff in the hall, living room, dirty water in the bathroom, opening doors elsewhere etc. I was getting stuff like nursery door is messed with immediately followed by a door being messed with elsewhere in the house. The double interactions were constant. I didn't get UV despite looking around or checking for footprints in salt. I ended up guessing the twins and it turned out it was a Jinn?

I didn't think Jinn can wander outside the ghost room other than flipping the breaker? Anyone got an explanation for this one?

All ghosts can slam doors shut. However, only Yurei can slam the front door without it being a hunt/ghost event. That, and a Mimic pretending to be a Yurei.

Is Bleasdale bugged? I thought the ghost was in the foyer, but it turned out it was in the second floor bathroom. It happened before. Always in the foyer, but the ghost room is actually somewhere else.

Yep it's bugged and the ghost seems to always spawn in the foyer then it goes to it's room either by roaming or teleporting, I dunno haven't tested it enough

That's generally the learning curve but keep in mind that blood moon makes ghosts kinda wacky. And ghosts can just be weird sometimes that's what keeps the game fresh imo
