The people who are at the top are streamers who play 15x regularly. For me, the leaderboard itself didn’t matter. I don’t get to play the game much. But the it isn’t vital to my general happiness with the game. I enjoy the event when I get to play and the atmosphere.

I just focus on the personal one since there’s a few weeks for that

all ghosts can do this, they don't start from the favourite room, but rather the ghost itself. The Goryo is the only ghost that is far more likely to hunt from the favourite room

You need to set up a routine. Start with grabbing a video camera and EMFs. Get the breaker on, and you can look for orbs and EMF signs. If you hear something thrown, see a door open, or hear even a toy giggle, that's a good indicator its the ghost room. That's a start.
