Bloody moons basically take all setting and bump them up a level so depending what difficulty your on a high wander ghost with blood moon can wander even more making it much less chance to get dots UV or writing as ghost basically wanders so much it's not there long enough to give the evidence, monitor in truck is great for spotting EMF 5 if you know what your looking for and I would used that to elim EMF and leave as dots by elim

A big thing to do is getting used to surviving hunts. You can look up some hiding spots for all the maps and if you are feeling brave practice looping the ghost with a zero sanity difficulty, or just in your regular games

If I'm trying to see what a ghost is I try to observe it without getting seen if I need to see the speed I only use the last 6 seconds or so of a hunt A lot of people get themselves killed looping for too long

Might as well post this for anyone who needs it how to get the Best chances for the demon ability Achievement (if you get a demon / Are trying for the achievement)
75% sanity.
Forced monkey paw. Wish for activity
Player and ghost speed 150% sprint
Activity High
Ghost events low
Sanity drain 0%
As soon as you unlock door, start 60sec timer. Leave after 60sec. Rinse repeat until demon ability kills.

It's a weakness it will even have orbs on zero evidence No ghost has four evidence

you can record from the truck or if you have a video camera in your hand hold right mouse button to start recording

but assuming we only have like 2 evidence

and we can get 3

If you're on a mode that only has two evidence then the mimic will have three including orbs if you're on a mode that only has one evidence and you get 2 then it's a mimic because of the orbs if you're on a mode that has zero evidence and you get orbs then it's a mimic because orbs

If you're on a mode that has different evidence and you get more evidence than you should and it doesn't include orbs, you got something wrong and you need to recheck
