Guys im new to the game, around 35 cases in, how do I tell if its a ghost event (harmless) or dangerous like a hunt?? Ive ALWAYS hid from them when I could be getting evidence so can someone please answer

Events: May close doors or turn off lights, ghost will never blink, no grace period (appears instantly)
Hunts: Will only close the front door, only turns off lights when the hunt ends, ghost will blink, there will be a grace period of a few seconds between when the hunt starts and the ghost appears. Also hunts will keep the same ghost sounds throughout each round.

Yup, the ghost can also teleport stuffed animals. Whenever you see one of those out of place, check where the item started.

not being able to see is kinda the point lol. night vision can help, but be careful since it attracts the ghost. Using firelights (or increasing your brightness) helps a lot too

so, ghost orbs is the only evidence i have, it keeps bouncing between rooms, it just hunted (93% sanity)
but.. demon isnt on the list so could it be mimic? it hasnt done anythinggg though, its just throwing shit here and there, and it spawned outside of the 2 places its been going to, it keeps going between the kids tents and the food tent, but then it spawned in the campfire, and ive seen orbs in all 3 places someone help 😭

Gathering vials of blood hidden throughout the map and then placing the blood into a lava rock bowl and it fills to a certain like. A teammate has to have died as a sacrifice to trigger an animation but then they come back after haha. Sounds silly. Do it on every map to earn the rewards.
