So my partner and I had something really bizarre happen in a Bleasdale run. She found the Ghost Room very quickly with the Foyer having low temperatures, then when we set up, we were just... Waiting. Nothing was happening. Threw some salt around and some Motion Sensors, nothing. Spirit Box, no dice.

We were convinced it was a Shade, so we left the area to wait for it to do something. Nothing happened. Thirty minutes in with no sign of activity, I double-check the temperature. Still cold. We're on a Custom Difficulty where the Ghost can't change rooms, for clarification. With zero activity and no sign of the Ghost, I grab the Ouija Board and trigger a Cursed Hunt. The Ghost is nowhere to be found, but we see lights flicker in the Utility Room and Tea Room. I deliberately try to lure the Ghost to me, but it's still nowhere to be found. So I grab the Parabolic Mic and start searching, thinking maybe the Ghost is stuck somewhere.

Chat, I kid you not, the Ghost was in the Attic. The Ghost Room was never the Foyer. It was the Attic. Despite getting cold temps in the Foyer, the Ghost Room was the Attic. And out of curiosity, I went back to check the temps in the Foyer again? It was completely back to normal.

The Ghost ended up being a Yokai, which probably explains why I couldn't lure it to me.

Just because the room was cold doesn't mean that the ghost changed rooms a ghost can wander and the temperatures will follow them it is not only the ghost room that gets cold it is the rooms that the ghost is in when it is wandering.

The most important thing to remember in this game is that every single evidence (except for orbs if the ghost has them) can be found outside of the ghost room as the ghost is wandering around.

dang okay thank you. we figured out it was the twins afterwards. One twin hunted and then after the hunt ended the other twin IMMEDIATELY started eventing and walking around. Scared the crap out of us lol

the twins is a ghost with 2 interaction ranges, 1 which is a normal range then a 2nd one thats bigger which if it uses this bigger range it can choose to hunt off of the object it touched which will force it to be slow twin (i think) but if it hunts normally it has a 50/50 chance to be slow twin 1.7m/s or fast twin 1.9m/s, it does NOT change ghost models. i like to think of it as a ghost trying to seem more scary by fooling you into thinking its two ghosts

yeah its kinda rare to see one when the ghost is chain hunting. Best is to rule out everything else until your down to those last mare, yurei, goryo, jinn.

Then its placing sound sensors + motion sensors and truck camping for awhile until you get more information

yurei actually isnt too bad of an apoc3 ghost now that i think of it, you can just set up a cam outside of its ghost room and watch the door. yureis door touches are a instant give away

yeah yurei can usually be ruled out. Though in some games (like courtyard ghosts) just never do door interactions so its hard to rule out yurei

Yeah banshees an easy ghost for apoc3 trophies. Most of the time is listening to it on paramic so u either get itts scream or u realize its roaming to you

Not just jinn test but it’ll also test the blinks and obake. Maybe even myling/raiju if it gets close enough

My play style for Apocalypse still goes with speed test and is completely safe remember you are the director just like when messing up most pictures yes ghost picture and dots picture is glitched but you got an EMF in your picture because you left the EMF there

Are there any known bugs with Tanglewood right now? DOTs ghost would absolutely not register on photos last night (multiple photos center frame) and now tonight, the motion sensor is going off like mad even with nobody in the room and the objective is not checking off and it's not being detected by the video camera

And the incredible loud noise of the mirror while you're looking into it could cover up any hunt sound before you notice it and that's why the shade who can only hunt in a different room than you killed you so fast because by the time you noticed it with that loud **** mirror noise

Well the only reason I would use the circle is because I'm trying to get some objectives done or to lower my sanity so either case yes but if I need an event I don't get an event if my sanity is too low if I need a picture I would have a nice clear picture with the event
