It can assist in finding the ghost in large locations. And banshees have a specific a scream that can be heard on it. Note: the mimic can do that scream, too.

One ghost that was very challenging when I was starting was the twins. They have different speeds you can be hunted by a slow twin or a fast twin. It takes a lil bit of practice to be able to identify which twin is hunting you

They typically do events one after another. In my experience if you have an event that’s a door touch and an event where the ghost shows it self to you back to back it’s 90% of the time twins

It would be helpful to know if everyone was actually inside of the house during that hunt, Banshees can be weird, but their targeting isn't reported to be bugged - right now at least. It's not a slight on what you think you saw, or the amount of hours. I'm 2600+ hours in, and there are certain intracacies I don't know and still learn from other folks. The details do matter

Yeah, this is def one of the hardest challenges for newbies. A few things to keep in mind:

• You can never lose anything in challenge mode; no risk
• You get credit even if you die, so long as the correct ghost is circled
• There is a long (5 second) grace period, and all hiding spots are open, so surviving hunts shouldn't be much of an issue.

Sorry to say, but if you need to be "guided" through an Insanity game, you probably aren't ready for Apoc 3.

You should do what I did; start with Apoc 1 and work your way up. I did Apoc 1 with only 2 Evidence and Apoc 2 with 1 Evidence. Didn't even end up needing the 1 Evidence for Apoc 2 because I was lucky enough to have a Banshee.
