Only Onryo can blow out the same firelight twice in 20s. Keep a single flame lit on top of a cruci (pref T2) If it blows it out twice in 20s, it's Onryo confirmed. If it burns the cruci while a flame is lit, it's not an Onryo

This also extends to lighters but the cooldown starts when you light it. So if you light your lighter and it gets blown out shortly after, it's an Onryo.

If you have a video of mist form you cannot get the photo after and vice versa. Mist form photo can be inconsistent to capture sometimes, I recommend standing and waiting for the mist ball to get closer before taking a picture of it

You also have to ensure nothing else may be in the way when you take a photo of it

GT 710 card, it sucks but I only really play phas so I haven’t been bothered getting a new one, but it works. If your going to get a better cpu I would recommend amd with 3D V cache. (You will have to replace the motherboard for a different brand sadly)

You know how it's really annoying to get dots video sometimes? I think I discovered something else working against you. I was trying to get dots video for a Banshee in the Tanglewood bathroom, and I had one projector pointing into the bathroom (T3) and another one pointing down the hallway from the boy's room. I was standing at the end of the hallway, to allow more time as it walked out of the bathroom, since dots videos nonsensically take twice as long to record as most others, and it started recording as it came out of the bathroom, but then the recording cut off as it left the area of the first dots projector, even though it was still in the second and still visible. So I think the video camera only picks it up as long as it's within the range of the projector it started dots mode in, even if it's still in range of a second one after it leaves.

I had two dots ghosts in a row, and between them I got 0 videos and 1 photo that I had to wait almost 30 minutes for, because it kept spawning on top of me, walking around corners, or lasting a quarter of a second. I had no other options for photos though.

Getting dots wasn't the problem. Getting media of them was. I saw them and marked down the evidence fairly early, but getting the video or photo was the problem. I spent probably 20 minutes just standing outside the Tanglewood utility with a camera in my hand before I got it.

Onis are more likely to do an event, I was playing grafton, the room was the upstairs hallway, it did a translucent, then 2 seconds after that event was done it did a full ghost then like 8 after the first full ghost it did another full ghost
