I've never found that loudness had anything to with the ghost, maybe more with the model (Myling's softness aside)
But a very slow and sloggish sound is often a revenant, as if its walking through a marsh

They can't both hunt at the same time, so instead, they take turns hunting similar to the Twins. But if one's an early hunter, then only that host will hunt till oyu within threshhold.

This means you have to balance between two ghosts, and figure out what ghosts you have.

it's not the map that makes the xp grind it's the difficulty. the more difficult to get it right, the more points (aka money) you get. sure can do the 10x get the ghost right and be 1k instead of 100 pts or do all media objectives, perfect game and get even more. if learning still all things phasmo, just playing is worth it. if already knowledged, then maybe 10x or 15x 0ev 0san 1 hunt is your speed.

I still play on 3 evidence, but actually getting 3 pieces of evidence to zero in a ghost makes the game way, way less fun

they are, however, unable to hunt no matter what sanity you're at, when you're occupying the ghost room

Got a question if anyone has a solution. If I leave my Vive Vr Headset plugged into my PC it will just crash phasmaphobia in the middle of playing it. I have to fully unplug the Vive HDMI and USB from my pc everytime. I tried to just unlplug the power to the vive box that connects from the headset to the pc and it still crashed. Any advice or solutions?

Been dying a lot to ghosts that seem to be super cracked out after I smudge them. It also throws me off, cuz I start doubting their speed. I looked it up, and understand a bit better how the LoS speed increase works; was that always a thing, or is that a more recent addition? I've played on and off since release. More importantly though, the wiki says the ghost retains this speed boost until after LoS is lost and it's given up on its "immediate search area"; does that mean the room that it last saw you in, or does it include surrounding rooms...? Just trying to get an idea of how to get it to stop sprinting after me, after I kite it for evidence

Shouldn't cause issues? As long as the game launches in standard mode. Could be your headset activating via movement too and turning on steam vr. That could cause a crash maybe

It's been i thing for a few years now at least (I started in 2023) and LoS is lost if you go around a corner and behind something. It'll give up where it last saw you.

So as long as a Rev has LoS on you, you can't really run. But by going around corners and other obstacles, you increase the likelihood that it'll give up and lose LoS

I’d try clearing Steam cache and maybe changing download region. Then pressing Steam and exit and restart as admin. Those are my go-to fixes for that one.

The T2 sound recorder sucks, compared to the T1... if you get two sounds at once, it won't record either, helping you miss capturing a sound event. They should swap them, making the T2 the entry level device.... Current T1 is very reliable and the LED display makes it easy to home in on source.
