If the breaker turned off directly (as in, the ghost didn't turn on a light and it tripped the breaker) it's not a jinn. My next recommendation would be to hide and wait for a hunt and see how fast the ghost moves. That will help you rule out moroi, deo, thaye, revenant

Regarding the twitch drops: I have reconnected my game to twitch and both say my connection is fine. I have had Insym's stream open and have been refreshing the stream every now and then. I have refreshed, reopened, and have been unable to track or even know whether I am making progress towards the twitch drop. Does anyone know any fixes?

If the speed is fast, it is a moroi or thaye. If not, your next step would be to watch it as it hunts. Leave the breaker off and watch it as it hunts, carry a smudge with you.

-If it breathes a cloud of cold air, it's a hantu.
-if it shapeshifts into another model, it's an obake.
-if it spends more time invisible than visible, it's a phantom
-If it spends most of its time visible than invisible, it's an oni
-If you smudge it, start a timer. if it hunts after 3 minutes, it's a spirit

Public lobbies are public with no rights to privacy. Expect to be recorded or streamed in public lobbies.
Private lobbies do become a bit more grey but at same time its internet and just assume anyone in lobbie can stream or record based on the 1 party consent laws in place.

Bring in incense and a parabolic. As soon as you step inside, listen for the hunt. If the ghost is moving at mach fuck, it's a deo and you play as normal. If it isn't, go back to the truck and reroll
