if each t1 item gave a 10x mult, on 15x difficulty, and if that mult is applied multiplicitively, it would be a multiplier of 1.5e22. 1.5 with 22 zeros after it. or a multiplier of 150 sextillion.

if the mult was applied additively, it would just be a mult of 225x, which is still an insane mult, but not quite 2000 times more than the estimated number of grains of sand on earth.

from what i can remember, ghosts will have forced evidences. if for example you got only spirit box on insanity/1e, you can basically rule out a lot of ghosts like obake, hantu, mimic (since it will show 2)

If the ghost throws the book on any difficulty, it means it won't show writing. This can mean that the ghost doesn't have writing (3 ev) or that writing may be a hidden evidence (2/1/0 ev)

i died and in 5 hunts it didnt blowout firelights once. For the first hunt: i tested by placing down the t3 candles not lighting them, then waiting for a hunt then lighting them. The ghost will always attempt to blow out a firelight after 30s of them being lit with a 2/3 chance to succeed and it didnt blowout one. In the others i just looped it and still no signs of blowouts

Im doing most of my learning solo on amateur to learn the tools. Played with my brother yesterday and he put us in some 0 sanity challenge at the lighthouse. I died so fast so im finding solo is challenging but still easier

The lighthouse challenge has been good for making me get over my fear of hunts lol

I do recommend moving up the difficulties as they become available because the XP modifier is really good and the game actually doesn’t get that much harder

The only two differences between amateur and professional basically are that the breaker starts off and the ghost can hunt before 5 minutes

And less hiding spots I guess, but if you keep an eye out for where open hiding spots are and keep a plan for how to get to it you should be good

I just wish the challenge wasn’t on lighthouse

Smh on this weekly, first ghost was a pain, a shade. I got 2 of 3 of it's evidence, when I got freezing I knew it was a shade. 2nd ghost was super fast on first hunt, saw it had orbs after the hunt, and then got writing and it had to be a thaye, those two were lucky and in the first room when you enter. Now the third ghost had the breaker ALL the way at the top, turned it on and the ghost was hunting at that point. The saddest part about this is you notice the crashing but it's not fully crashed so all you hear is your teammate asking "are you crashing" before you actually disconnect lol

idk how that works but typically if im disconnected from games i dont hear teammates saying anything once the disconnecting has started
