On paper sure but this system on paper punishes new players for trying out media since its deletion process is for some reason based on a vote and not the host 😭 It’s very overwhelming for a new player to get told “Press J, press media, press the arrow until you’re at sound recordings and press the trash can icon on the duplicate burnt crucifix recording” while you’re in the building with an aggro ghost + random bs can just intercept evidence you’re recording like a crucifix burning while listening to a ghost whisper

The media system is just artificially challenging to appear balanced; it’s pointless in practice

Brownie, a helpful spirit, in game this would be a cursed object probably but it helps with chores so in this case it would help discover the ghost perhaps by ruling out evidence, maybe it could even be a dead player that has a chance to turn into a brownie

Bartram, a ghost who would attack people and rob them so maybe it would take something from your inventory and place it somewhere on the map for you to go find

Selkie, probably 1 of the most famous scottish folklore creatures, a shapeshifter, it takes shape and mimics the voice of humans and uses this ability to trick and kill other humans

Silkie, a female ghost who makes 0 noise at all, you will never hear it but it also loves being alone so being in its ghost room would anger it

Bauchan, similar to the brownie, a cursed object ghost that will sometimes help the players identify the ghost but may also randomly help the ghost, maybe by triggering a hunt, locking players in rooms, making noise near hiding players, turning on electronics during hunts etc

Learn your ghosts. Most ghosts can be determined via a hunt. Some you can test for prior to a hunt, but the best way to do the weekly is to just try it. Learn ghost behaviors and figure it out that way. You can watch a lot of the partners who do the weekly every week, like insym, flashforce etc... they usually show a lot of tests you can do for the ghosts

All reports in-game go directly to Kinetic Games. They do tend to need either corroborating reports or evidence such as video to assure false reports aren't made. If you've reported a user in-game, Modmail will gladly add any additional evidence you may have to the report.

I mean gameplay wise it would fix the ghost, you know? If youre on 0 evidence you have to rule out every other ghost. Goryo doesnt change ghost rooms ever but neither do other ghosts for like 20 minutes straight sometimes. Goryo is the "I have not found evidence/traits at all, probably this one then" ghost.

Goryo also cant long roam. So you can rule it out via this method.

Ive had a numerous amounts of ghosts act like other ghosts , jinns act like mares and turn the breaker off .. I've had twins do not twin things .

Jinns can turn on a light and overload the breaker if too many are on.

lots of people make claims the ghost are or aren't doing something, but 99.99% of the time it's a player issue. Clips are super important if something's actually amiss

Dont make a pile. A pile means it can throw something at bottom and due to physics. Well. You got lots of things moving

Also. Note for polty now.
All items will float at same exact time and yeet at exact same time for its ability.
Other ghosts can quickly throw a few items back to back but it wont be exact same time.

Is it worth it doing perfect games now that you need voice recorder n media recordings

After testing it on my custom difficulty. I feel like objectives and getting the ghost is more worth your time

get media when you can, but perfects don't feel worth it imo

I only go for perfect when playing with others, I just wanna get the ghost right and leave, thats the fun part for me

Perfect can take anywhere between 15-45 minutes(in my experience) depending on the map. I said on average it was 25 minutes, I would get $3300 per perfect on small maps, but getting objectives and ghost right took on average 10 minutes per game and I'd get $2700 ish per game.
