Not to mention that if you ask a ghost how it's feeling with the Ouija Board, there are more sad answers than happy answers. I think most of the time, we're doing the ghost a favor by calling in an exorcism team.

If you haven’t tried it yet. Try factory resetting your consoles. Sign into your accounts once you get the console set up again and download Phasmophobia. It could also have to do something with the cache so you could also try clearing the cache memory to see if it that works. If not factory resetting it would be my last option if it were me

You can use the cheat sheet and check the "standard line of sight speed up" box to see which ghosts have it and which ghosts don't. The vast majority of ghosts do have it.

Strangely enough, Moroi does have the standard LOS speed boost despite its ability to run fast when players have low sanity.

I'm level 27 and I've only been hunted three times that I can remember. Twice because of demons and once because I used a cursed mirror to get the 0% sanity daily task done (and then used a smudge to escape the resulting hunt.)

You could try power-cycling your consoles. You would just need to shut down the console. UnPlug the power cable, then wait a few minutes, plug it back in. Once it’s back on shut it down fully again and then go to turn it on but hold the power button until you hear two beeps to put it in safe mode (should take 5-7 seconds). Once in safe mode connect your controller to the console via usb the. Choose “clear cacche and rebuild database” option. Uninstall and reinstall Phasmophobia again. If that still fails to work and you keep crashing you should just factory reset the console entirely. If you choose to do that just make sure to backup and save your games and any media screenshots or videos you want to keep.

Spirit box only works if you're next to the ghost in the dark. Also, if you're not playing solo, having other players near you may stop the ghost from answering, if the ghost only responds to people who are alone. And even if you do everything perfectly it's pure RNG if it works or not.

I have a quick question, regarding my extremely lucky friend. I've played with him since start and we were both pretty completely garbage but we're a lot better now. However, this change was very sudden and I'm kind of second wheeling.
Because now my friend is a guessing God.

Doing no evidence with some buddies, and I was sitting behind the piano with parabolic listening for sounds, when the piano got interacted with. If we're talking Shade, turn the light on and stay of its room, plus anything that increases activity, which is usually a cursed object, and thus questionable

Ghosts can't throw things in a room with the lights on, so that limits what they can do. And Shade won't do anything anyway if you're in the same room.
