Be prepared to lose a lot and that’s fine, some ghosts/objectives are just inherently way easier to do then others so you may have to restart if you get some hard objectives (take that with a grain of salt though, haven’t beaten apoc 3 yet)

Well if you want to make sure you have evidence of some kind then the 1EV will keep you above 6x, but any more goes under, and while there are ways to get it back up to 6x it's not as fun. Here's a 6.22x that gives you some more leniency:

I hate ghosts that are "turn off breaker" happy. Especially on bigger maps where the breaker is far away from the ghost room. I like Bleasdale and all, but they should really consider placing the breaker in the utility room or the back porch. Going to the attic suuuuuuuccks.

1. He said that a mimic will mimic only one ghost the whole game. To which I responded with no, it changes every two minutes, and he said you've been lied to your whole life.
2. In a different game (0 evidence), I identified a moroi by the blindness timer after a smudge, and he wanted to double-check by getting a spirit box response. I said no, that's not how it works; it's forced to have it at one or two evidence, not zero.

So I assumed since the update that in the apocalypse mode, if you got a video of the ghost rather than a picture it would still count. But I just did the second apocalypse mode perfect play through, and I only got a video of the ghost. Well it didn’t count 😭 so that was 45 mins of nothing!

First off Shade is easy to guess. It cannot blow out a candle if you are in the same room as it. Set up a candle in the room near the middle accounting for room boundaries. Set up a note pad, emf and then after some time leave.

Yurei is pretty easy to eliminate. But if doors never partially open/close it’s a good indicator to test for a Yurei with the smudge test in the ghost room.

That map is very outdated because the ghost cant really interact with anything and by the time I find the ghost it probably hunted once or twice. Medium maps are a 50/50 on that part

Ye but the ghost has more interactions there so you can find it easier. Also the restricted version is goated.
On highschool there is barely anything for the ghost to interact with. Only the door and the light switch in its room. If you get lucky then a few books

If you're on PC, Windows (and I think Nvidia app) can record your last 30 seconds. That can be helpful in those "what just happened" situations.

hey, anyone here have experience with Linux and Proton? My biggest problem ist espeacaly with the newest update almost all maps are almost completle black.. i can't see a shit.. even with night on some map i can't see almost nothing.. i turned up brightness to 100% and monitor and HDR are all on max brightness.. i even tried to overdue... but even when the van is complete white because of overexpose.. the house it self is darkness.. i cannot play like this 😦
