Firelight has video+audio, motion sensors are a super easy video.

From what I can tell literally every ghost can do the genuine yurie door slam now (I don’t mean the new door slam with the update I meant the touch and slam)

and Yurei is the only one who can close the front door, only if its fully open

if you wanna test a yurei, youll have some doors semi open, and some doors fully open

if a fully open door is closed. but the semi open doors are not. then its a yurei

people tend to forget it only applies to fully open doors, and not semi open

and that's still only 33% of the time. Because the evidence you CAN photograph must not be selected

If a Nightmare Yokai spawns, you will be able to get a dots photo 66% of the time from it. (Tricky as that is in general)

basically, its harder to tell if the ghost is a yurei considering all ghosts can now slam doors shut, the yurei drains a players sanity when using its ability to slam a door and it will preform a double door interaction, though its pretty hard to catch.

Because theoretically if you checked before, and someone’s sanity got chunked in such a way it brought the average down to 50% and it hunted immediately, then it could be legit

Demon is 100 for ability and 70 for regular, thaye is 75 and decreases with age to 15, onryo is 100 for ability and 60 for regular, yokai is 80 for ability and 50 for regular, raiju is 65 for ability and 50 regular, and mare is 60 or 40 dependant on light, most other ghosts are below 50 with the exception of shade if you're in is room

Tier 2+ thermo is quick response but can fault to low temperatures from no power
Same with breaths

Keeping an eye out for thrown or misplaced objects
Parabolic mic can pick up the sound of interactions directionally as well as ghost sounds
Other general interactions like doors that are cracked open slightly or lights turned on that aren’t supposed to be.

Probably a lot of other ways related to other equipment or ghost behaviour

He does drain more sanity if he hits you with an event
