Banshee chooses a random person as target at the start, and only cares about that person's sanity for hunting. If that person is in the house when it hunts, it will ignore everyone else and only target them.

All evidence except for orbs can be gathered anywhere that ghost is currently wandering in or out of its room.
Orbs will only move once the ghost officially changes rooms if the settings allow.

I think they should make sanity more immersive, like make it so ghost events look different depending on a players sanity, someone with a higher sanity won't get an as interesting or scary ghost event as someone with lower sanity, it'd also be cool if someone with lower sanity would see the ghost more often in corners and stuff hiding, adding more immersion and atmosphere to the game

Every single ghost can do a small teleport for a ghost event in a small radius around the ghost to do the event near a player

Wraith is the long range teleport boi

The amount of sanity drained when a Yurei does their door interaction, can it vary? Because I believe this ghost to be yurei, but the amount drained seems very small.

yeah, the last door touch only drained like 5% at most.

You could have just had a ghost event that you didn't notice touch you which is ten percent which would close the door also

Keep in mind it's only when it does its simultaneous double touch and full slams the door closed.

One thing I'm not positive on is the range of the sanity drain, so if it was a Yurei ability maybe you were out of range?

there we go, now I got a normal sanity loss.

I guess you have to be in the ghost room for the effect to be fully powered.

Most of the times when the interaction happened, I was outside the ghost room (but close to the door in question)

Are you sure the previous times weren't a result normal sanity drain and/or monitor fluctuation?

Specifically the old Maple had too many areas with long sight distances that were causing performance issues as they were working on the console version. That's why the new one is more closed off.

Ugh, why did this ghost on Bleasdale have to be at the back door of the house? I have to trek ALL the way to the attic to turn the breaker off, go back to the back door, check for spirit box, then go back to the attic to turn breaker on.

This the best, simplest way to tell Onryo: If the ghost blows out the same firelight twice within 20s, it is an Onryo

Combine that with the elimination test: Place a candle on top of a T2 crucifix. If the crucifix is used while the candle is still lit, it is not an Onryo

I believe so. As long as you can balance the ball on the object long enough for you to uncrouch.

In the lobby I used the Jenga blocks. cww I found a soup can I put the basketball on.

If you do it on cww. I recommend looking up as you uncrouch. watch that ball fade into the sky.
