Not directly. Oni can't do an airball (which wouldn't close the front door anyway). Banshee is more prone to singing events while Shades won't do singing events. Mares are more prone to light-breaking events. But nothing definitive enough to circle a ghost.

If it does every event except ghost mist it’s an oni, if it disappears when you snap a pic it’s likely a phantom, mares break lights, twins do event far from the room

Yes, with exceptions: The ghost didn't blow out 3 flames (Onryo), a cursed object wasn't used, and you're actually at 90% (some ghosts have sanity drain abilities that can make you think you're much higher than you are)

Spread all the candles to cover the entire room, just keep relighting them AS SOON as they go out (have someone take interaction pics if you want) and keep doing it. Time each one you relight and if the light is blown out within 20 seconds it's an immediate onryo, if it doesn't hunt at all for a while or directly after a blow out then prob Onryo. Tier 2 crucifix is such a waste, take tier 3 and place it in the middle
