They change based on where they're roaming to, being nearby means they're a safe bet to be roamed to.

As well as having a range they can interact with objects in, they also occasionally go on little walks.

But the true ghost room can be found by being the coldest one, as it spends most time there. It’s also where orbs are always found if present 🙂

At the start, temps won’t drop until the front door is opened, so sweeping straight away won’t always be an obvious result, but will become more so over time 🙂

It’s based on the distance to the ghost, which means ghost room is your best bet as they spend most time there, be sure room light is off, move around while asking. T1 range is fairly painful lol. You can also leave it turned on on the floor.

Also be sure it’s lighting up when you ask things, meaning it is recognising the questions, or you’ll be relying on the failsafe responses thing that can happen.

Because candles work as crucifixes on priority

If there is a candle lit nearby when it tries to hunt, it blows it out. If there's no candle but a crucifix, it burns that instead. If neither is nearby, it hunts.

No, they have an interaction range which could already reach out of it, and they can roam and do things during that.

Wraith and Phantom will teleport/roam to a player from anywhere, Banshee will stalk its target, and even Goryo can roam out of its room

The interaction range on small maps works out to about a 2.12m radius which goes through walls.

I had an angry ass spirit in the high school. Everytime we stepped into the door, halfway into the lobby, it would start hunting. The room was all the way upstairs and the hunt would end too soon for us to get any photos or smudge when we'd get up there. Then we'd leave and go back in and the same thing would happen. I hate big maps

yeah i know, ive tested allot, ever since there was the weekly task for taking uv footies photos, i havent goten a single instance where its happened, my hearing isnt sharp enough to hear the footsteps, however, even during hunts, its not, keep in mind i talking specificlly about ghosts with uv, jinn, mimic, banshee, etc, ive looked at a door and it have uv but then i place the salt outside the room and wait for it to walk into it, and it walks through all of them, independently, like one after another, and dont leave behind the uv -sorry for paragrpah
