yes, random light flicking is often a sign the ghost is in the general area. However, the range is apparently so large that it can be pretty much anywhere on small maps.

Going Banshee based on that alone, while it might be an educated guess, is still very soft evidence. However, Banshe does tend to straight follow you more than Phantom or Wraith

I was led to believe the light flickering range was much too large to be a useful clue on a small map like Tanglewood. I'll just say if you were able to perceive a Banshee following you by flickering, you either got lucky or the range is much smaller than I thought.

Turn this option off then set your cursor and game options to whatever you want and it should stop changing

when using the tier 2 EMF during a hunt and it goes off. It counts towards the emf objective. Whereas normally you have to find evidence of the ghost interacting with something for it to count...

Never had that happen personally in all my hours. It may have been leftover emf from the ghost interacting with something and ending the hunt, but the interaction timer is still going.

Maybe its not a bug. Technically its throwing items and touching doors so its counted as emf. And the objective doesnt mean emf2, just any emf from objects or interactions or abilities.

It only works with EMF tier 2. Not tier 3 or 1. I have tested this. Even when i play multi player people always ask for the tier 2 emf and not the 3 so that we can get the objective instantly (When playing customs - 0 sanity). But anyways It doesnt matter anymore because i think they patched it 😦

Demonologist relies on scripted jumpscares that quickly become odl and actually add nothing to the investigation giving nothing of use and just false interactions, Phas is heavy into the impact of the ghost on the player and evironment, and has a bunch of micro evidences etc that all come together.

But if you're playing standard assed games, it's fine

Point Hope was a cool concept and great test for all the new art and assets, but it feels like they went overboard on it. It also has some weird quirks about it and how the ghost interacts with everything that makes it really annoying

Maybe, there’s testing and there’s fixing the issues QA finds. I’ve had plenty of projects that we tested but we had to push a release without fixes because of hard deadlines.
