it's all luck either way. Same thing overall but you just sprint in at 0 sanity and die to every ghost right away. The thought process was that most ghosts aren't a Demon anyway and I'd rather turn games over faster. The risk is that you get get a Demon that doesn't ability hunt, but it certainly still can. In fact it's more likely to a 0 sanity than at 75 sanity; it just doesnt' have to.

Sanity in Nightmare starts at 100% - if a player goes in and asks "Where are you?" On the sanity board that player has dropped 50% sanity. If you are solo then that is also the average. This brings you down to the hunting threshold of almost all the types of ghosts.

i believe the only way the ghost will not perfom a "ghost event" is: 1. u light all candles and the ghost is already hunting, it gonna teleport the ghost at the summoning circle.
2. u dont have enough sanity to fire the last candle but u do it anyway, its like if u dont have sanity the candles gonna blow up but if u dont have enough sanity for the last one it doesnt have enough time to blow up and will trigger the cursed hunt that will be immediately

If you ever wanna do a command and have yours go "poof" after do -d after and itll auto delete too. Helps for the other commands more.

Tbf. Im almost certain banshee did work like this at one point. Banshee and demon had a lot of work done at one point which changed a lot of what we knew about them.
For example, banshee used to have the demon ability. Could hunt at any sanity.

this gotta be the weirdest no evidence ghost I've ever gotten. It hunted once at like 45% sanity and felt slightly slow. I then waited 20 mins for it to finally hunt again and now it's as slow as a snail and doesn't speed up. Thinking it might be a very old thaye lol

So I have literally no clue what im doing yet, no clue how to operate the equipment properly, any of that. Outside of the training mode in game, what's the best way for me to get a quick rundown and learn how to start playing and being actually useful to groups I join into

hm my not proffesional advice would be to practice using different equipment and get comfortable gathering evidence and hiding. the hardest part is learning the ghost enough to not find them terrifying and die every hunt XD

but if youre down, im sure that groups would be willing to help teach you!

i think friendly ghosts justs cancels any hunt you trigger, so the cursed objects stilll do the same thing (mirror to find ghost position) but they cant cause hunts
