And to add to the thrown book, it means it won't be one of the shown evidences. So if you are playing on 2 ev and it throws it then you can't immediately eliminate a Demon, however, you can know that in order for to be a demon at that point it has to be freezing and uv. Can be helpful when you have a hunch and want to target finding/eliminating a specific evidence for confirmation

if you have some knowledge on the ghosts its okayish to guess

Depends on your skill level, a bunch of ghosts have tells that you can identify them by, and a lot of those will happen during a hunt

I personally did a custom setup making the ghost basically as deadly as possible (150% speed etc) and then gave myself 125% speed, 3ev, 100% sanity, and was able to still get a 4x multiplier

Usually was able to sprint around, and find out the ghost + evidences long before it would hunt

The problems are real, and unfortunately they're gameplay related: Sounds between floors are abysmal, ghosts can naturally path into what shoud be secure hiding spots (also on bleasdale), and many ghost tests are borderline imposssible on higher floors. All but the last issue can be fixed, and I hope they will.

My main issue with Demo was that the events were completely independent from the ghost. If they worked in a similar manner to Phas's ghost events where they actually help you locate the ghost / will vary on different contracts because the ghost is in different locations then I think it would be alright

i was playing multiplayer and someone in my lobby with prestige 6 said that the ghost can hear the radio even when ur hearing someone else and not speaking. Is it possible that it's a current bug?

As far as polter throwing things farther, that's only really noticeable during a hunt or when it does its multithrow ability. Knowing what ghost it actually was would be helpful to know where you went wrong.

Well if you are playing on professional or less then you will have 3 evidence to find the ghost. If you are getting all 3 evidence and failing that means you either got a mimic and were tricked, or you are not getting evidence you think you are. Orbs can get you caught out if you mistake snow/some other lights, the rest of the evidence is impossible to mess up assuming you actually see the ghost in DOTs and you are using the EMF reader properly for EM5s

If you haven't run through the Training, that would be helpful to make sure you know how all the evidence items work.

if you use radio and ghost is within 9m, it will hear it and go for you. if someone else uses radio and ghost hears it, it will go for THEM. ghost goes for whoever's using the radio.

Polter can be deceptive, ghosts can feel like they are doing far throws but they're actually not, you just have to get a feel for what a normal throw feels like. Some objects are easier to throw farther, for example the balls, they go far no matter the ghost. Polter generally throws a loottt of stuff, and far, and its ability throws multiple things at once in a location, so you can pile items up and it can make them explode and they fly everywhere, that's a good test if you think its polter
