Question, doing the last Challenge mode and the ghost teleported from the upstairs hallway by the Nursery to the Upstairs Bedroom behind me. It didn't hit a single motion sensor and it has definitely stepped in all my salt so it's not a wraith. Am I missing something?

step 1 - turn on the lights (this game has a breaker, if the breaker is turned off lights wont work so you need turn it on)
step 2 - find places where you can hide
step 3 - you should have heard something move around the house by now (if not hold your thermometer enter each room for like 5 seconds and see if the temperature starts decreasing, if not change to another room - you should hear something move around the house to give you awareness of which direction the ghost should be meanwhile)
step 4 - once you spot the ghost room (you'll have a cold breath when you're in the ghost room), place a video camera, D.O.T.S and your book in the floor
step 4.1 - place crucifixes in the ghost room (if the cross burns it means it protected you from a ghost hunt - a tier 1 cross can burn only 1 time, while the tier 2 and 3 crosses can burn 2 times and the higher their level the more range they cover)
step 5 - go grab your UV light and whenever the ghost touches windows / light switches / doors and walks on salt check for finger prints
step 5.1 - whenever ghost touches anything you go ther with your EMF turned on and check if it reaches level 5 (if its 1~4 it doesnt count as clue)
step 6 - turn off lights and speak to the ghost (where are you / are you here / how old are you - you need try this multiple times over the run since he mostlikely wont answer first try)
step 6.1 - keep checking for temperature 0.9 or below = freezing temps & also check if you see ghost orbs in the ghost room with video camera from time to time
step 7 you can take photos of doors/objects when the ghost as touched it for extra monies in the end of the map

this should give you the basics on how to play the game i wont add more things to not overwhelm you 🙂
of course if you hear the ghost hunting hide AND turn off your light/equipments or the ghost will hear/know you're there😄

I try to find the bone and cursed object first as that is 2 photos and bone for perfect, then focus on identify the ghost and optional objectives while taking photos of interactions. Is anyone else’s game bugging? I have played several games where we have had insanely obvious characteristics for certain ghosts where we were FOR SURE it was that ghost, and then it ended up being something completely different. But then, our game summary doesn’t reflect accurately. We had a game we thought was a Mare 100%, it turned off the light switch at least 20 times (didn’t break the breaker) and our game summary said the ghost only toggled 3 lights, and it wasn’t a Mare. It’s frustrating trying to do the weekly challenge when it’s not accurate

You're moving at 50% speed, the ghost is moving at 150% speed. T3 will stop the ghost in the place and then it will come right after you then. With T1, the ghost will keep running which will most likely put some distance between you and the ghost which you need.

What do you mean by "the deogen thing"? Are you referring to when people just back out until they get a deogen? That takes away from it, in my opinion. I'm prestige 10 on PS5, I know what I'm talking about. It took me about 20 tries to complete APOC3 for the first time. I had an obake and seen it SS once when it was at the end of a hallway. Everyone has their methods, but, I recommend T1 or T2 incense, just staying by the entrance and calling the ghost to you with everything else you need on the floor. First step is testing for a stalking ghost (banshee, wraith, phanthom) with firelights and salt.

sorry no, I haven't been able to post in there yet since I've been super busy lately. I did try changing monitor refresh rates and resolution and it was mostly the same. the only difference was that lower refresh rates made it less obvious/didn't hurt my eyes as much, but issue still occurred.

yes - when you turn the breaker back on, either the house will be completely dark - all light switches off (popped breaker from overload) or everything will be in its original position - lights will be on (breaker switch was turned off by ghost or person)

well the best way to tell if its the ghost turning it off or if its you overloading the fusebox is by checking if all lights come back on when you turn on the power again

you got this. hide for the first part of the hunt, then call it over near the end to get your pic. smudge - take pics - smudge again and hide.
if you lay down salt before, take pics of it immediately after it's stepped in, since the game does always prioritize it T.T

you're too slow to escape when you use T3 and the ghost doesn't move.
I prefer T2. a lot of other people like T1 for this. T3 can be a death sentence.

T1/T2 the ghost will wander away and you have a chance to hide

T2 is nice in general for predictability. I've never tried it in a 15x setting though. I just want that bastard as far away as possible.

I think a lot of people also swear by T1 in apoc so they can still hear ghost speed as it's running away as well. I was good using paramic and just listening before smudge tho.

idk about Apoc, but in speedruns T1 is definitely preferred b/c it doesn't mess w/ the ghost speed.

Play a few normal tangles at 150 with a forced object listen to hunts in a closet to get a decent feel of 150 speed before hand
